What Does Your Business Need Moved?

Describe the load and the job. These examples help us assess the transport, access, and handling needed.

Furniture & Equipment Pickups

Desks, shelving, retail fixtures, or business equipment. Share item details, dimensions, readiness, and collection instructions.

Stock & Supply Transfers

Boxed inventory or supplies moving between a supplier, shop, office, or storage location. Include quantities, packaging, and receiving windows.

Event Equipment Transport

Displays, boxed supplies, or equipment headed to an event and back. Share loading windows and whether a return pickup is needed.

Plan the Help You Need

Agree on the load, every stop, and the help needed at each site before the run. Handling, access, and timing are assessed for your quote.

Goods & Capacity
We transport office furniture, equipment, boxed stock, and supplies. Fragile, oversized, heavy, or unusual goods and difficult access are assessed case by case. We use vans and arrange larger vehicles when needed; capacity and multiple vehicles or trips are assessed during quoting, with all planned trips included in the agreed price.
Loading & Delivery Placement
Our owners and employees handle all lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading, normally with two to three staff and more as needed. Customer or site staff help is not required. Choose curbside, building-entrance, or indoor placement in a requested area; the agreed option is included in your quote. Share any special placement instructions.
Preparation & Protection
Moving blankets, straps, stretch wrap, and floor and doorway protection as needed are included. Full or partial packing and unpacking are available using our supplies or yours, with agreed labour and materials included in the quote. Furniture disassembly, reassembly, and new furniture assembly are chargeable; our crew brings tools. Supply instructions and original hardware where possible. Equipment preparation and unusual pieces are assessed case by case.
Handover & Records
Item-count checks, recipient signatures, photos, and proof of delivery are standard for business runs. Include sending and receiving contacts, release authorisation, and any site-specific paperwork in your request. We provide invoices to all customers, including businesses.

Before the Business Run

A clear load list and site instructions help us understand your job.

  1. List the Goods. Include photos, quantities, dimensions and weight where known, packaging, and anything fragile or unusual.
  2. Map Every Stop. Share addresses, which items go where, stairs or elevators, loading bays, parking, and carrying distances.
  3. Identify Site Contacts. Include who will release and receive the goods, available loading windows, and release authorisation. Haul Aboard coordinates store or supplier collection once authorised. Unattended access can be arranged; complex arrangements require you or an authorised representative to be present. Stay reachable by phone on the day.
  4. Arrange Access & Preparation. Customers arrange required elevator bookings, loading bays, and parking permits. Prepare what you can within the agreed plan, and include packing, equipment preparation, assembly, or indoor placement in the quote.
  5. Share Timing & Paperwork. Include the preferred date, return pickups, any repeating schedule, billing details, and site documentation. Business delivery records are standard; flag any specific requirements before booking.

Business Transportation Questions

Include any details specific to your goods, sites, or schedule in your quote request.

Send photos, an item list with quantities, all locations, access details, and loading or receiving windows. Smaller jobs can normally be assessed from photos or a phone conversation; larger jobs may need a site visit or walkthrough. Quotes are free, with a reply within 24 hours.

Pricing is quote-only, normally fixed-price, with no minimum charge for one-off jobs. The load, labour, distance, access, parking, waiting, and all planned stops or trips are factored into your quote. Any special hourly exception, such as waiting time, is agreed in the quote. Taxes are shown. Recurring arrangements require a minimum commitment agreed for the route.

Substantial changes to the load or extra work require an updated quote or service-request agreement and your approval through our software or by email before the changed work proceeds.

Yes. Businesses can arrange recurring runs and reserved pickup or delivery windows. These arrangements must be renewed monthly and require a minimum commitment. The commitment, route, load, frequency, windows, and price are agreed for your arrangement.

We can accommodate special schedule terms; discuss these before booking so the agreed terms are clear. Include your typical load, stops, preferred days, and flexibility in your quote request, or email hello@haulaboard.ca.

Yes. Our crew handles all lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading, normally with two to three staff and more as needed. You can choose curbside, building-entrance, or indoor placement in a requested area. The placement and labour are agreed beforehand and included in the quote; customer or site staff assistance is not required.

Protection is included as needed, and agreed packing labour and materials are included in the quote. Furniture disassembly, reassembly, and new furniture assembly are chargeable. If furniture needs to come apart for transport, we explain the requirement and charges beforehand. Unusual or complex pieces are assessed case by case.

If furniture still cannot fit after possible disassembly, we discuss alternative placement first, then returning it, then rescheduling to reassess. Any changes to the agreed work require your approval.

Yes. Include each site's loading and receiving windows, appointments, event times, and return collections so we can plan the route against our schedule. All agreed stops and planned trips are included in the quote. Recurring reserved windows are subject to monthly renewal and the agreed minimum commitment.

For store or supplier collection, give Haul Aboard pickup authorisation so we can coordinate arrangements. If the seller is not ready or available and you still want collection, time spent waiting and travelling to collect the goods is charged through the agreed quote or an approved revision.

Stairs, heavy items, and difficult access are assessed case by case. If conditions differ on the day, we discuss them with you and obtain approval for any changes.

We provide invoices to all customers, including businesses. Item-count checks, recipient signatures, photos, and proof of delivery are standard for business runs. Share billing contacts and any site-specific paperwork requirements before booking.

The usual payment policy applies: deposits are only required for longer or higher-cost jobs, with amounts decided per quote and due before the job. Smaller jobs do not require a deposit. The remaining balance is due on completion. We accept cash and e-transfer, with credit and debit card payments through our online system. Taxes are shown.

We serve Metro Vancouver, with longer-distance jobs considered case by case. Evenings, weekends, short-notice jobs, and same-day pickups depend on the schedule. All services use the same booking software with our most up-to-date availability.

Your booking is confirmed once the quote is approved and the date is finalised. Online booking is coming soon on this site; for now, email details and photos to hello@haulaboard.ca. We reply within 24 hours and check our inbox roughly hourly.

Cancellation and rescheduling are handled case by case. Email us as soon as possible to discuss any fees or deposit arrangements. For recurring runs, we also review any special schedule terms agreed for your arrangement.

If we cannot access the site or the customer is unavailable, we try to call. If still unreachable, the booking must be rescheduled. If Haul Aboard needs to cancel or reschedule, your deposit is refunded unless you accept rescheduling to a future date.

We carry commercial insurance; email us if you have questions about coverage for your job. Report damage as soon as possible to hello@haulaboard.ca. We take before-and-after photos and may upload them to the customer portal.

Damage concerns, pre-existing damage, fragile items, and customer belongings are assessed case by case in discussion with you.
